Zigbang digital locks in Singapore

Zigbang is the name Samsung's digital door locks are now sold under. Models such as the SHP-DP609 push-pull lock are listed in Singapore as Zigbang, and retailers describe them as "previously Samsung". If your lock says Samsung on the front but your new one says Zigbang, it's the same family of locks.

Zigbang locks run on AA alkaline batteries in the inside unit, with a battery-dead alarm to warn you. Replace them all at once, as soon as the warning starts.

How to change the password on a Zigbang digital lock

Many Zigbang locks are managed in the Zigbang app, which can delete and recreate passcodes if a phone is lost. Without the app, codes are changed from the inside unit following the model's manual.

How to reset a Zigbang digital lock

A factory reset wipes all codes, cards and fingerprints and is done from inside. Use it only if you're inside and want to start again.

After several wrong codes the keypad pauses for a few minutes. Wait it out rather than keep trying.
