Padlock Cutting and Removal in Singapore

Open or cut?

Where we can open a padlock without damage, we do. Some padlocks are built to resist cutting: closed-shackle (shrouded) and disc padlocks, and hardened steel shackles, take specialist tools. Either way, we agree the approach and the price before we start.

Why we check ownership

Padlocks protect gates, shops and storerooms, so we always confirm you're entitled to open the one in front of us: for example proof of residence for an HDB gate, or authorisation from the business or building management. A locksmith who cuts any padlock without asking is a risk to everyone.

Replacing a padlock?
